The MHPSS Collaborative

The MHPSS Collaborative is a global hub for research, innovation, learning and advocacy. In the field of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), the MHPSS Collaborative connects key academic and humanitarian actors with local civil society to give children, youth and families in fragile and humanitarian settings the possibility to thrive.

The MHPSS Collaborative:

convenes local and global actors and facilitates partnerships to engage a broad range of stakeholders
innovates solutions addressing emerging and critical challenges to child, youth and family mental health and wellbeing.
co-develop and share knowledge, advancing local-to-global learning and evidence for better practice
influence donors and decision-makers to invest in multisectoral MHPSS as a life-saving measure.

The MHPSS Collaborative is hosted by Red Barnet (Save the Children, Denmark), but serves the global field of mental health and psychosocial support for children, youth and families in adversity.
The MHPSS Collaborative comprises researchers and practitioners with expertise in early childhood education, youth engagement and leadership, climate change, global-and public health, monitoring and evaluation and advocacy. The MHPSS Collaborative lead the dissemination, communication and advocacy work of the project.
