Dialogic Gatherings are a Successful Educational Action (SEA) that have been shown to improve academic achievement, psychosocial wellbeing and social cohesion in schools from early years to adult education. They have shown to be effective in any cultural, socio-economic and geographical context. Dialogic gatherings involve learners/students/pupils’ collective construction of knowledge and meaning through reading the greatest universally acclaimed literary, artistic and scientific works, among others, following the principles of dialogic learning. During the Dialogic Gatherings, new knowledge and meaning are built collectively through dialogic interactions on selected texts which participants have prepared beforehand. Dialogic Gatherings can be implemented across different disciplines, including literature, science, mathematics, art and music, among others.
