Family Education is a research-informed strategy for improving student outcomes through training sessions organized by and for parents and community members, held at the school. These sessions address real needs of families, such as literacy, language skills, or university exam preparation for adults. Importantly, the participants themselves decide the content based on their community’s needs, fostering a sense of ownership and engagement. This tool provides teachers with a framework to organize and implement Family Education programs, empowering parents and community members to become key stakeholders in their children’s educational success.
